White Widow ~ Cannabis Sativa, Subspecies Indica
Lineage
The White Widow strain is said to have been developed during the early 1990′s from a cross between a Brazilian Sativa plant and a South Indian Hybrid (mostly Indica) plant.
Medicinal Effects
White Widow offers a powerful, energetic feeling that manages to leave patients feeling social while helping to greatly relieve pain, anxiety and stress. White Widow is also used to stimulate the appetite and induce sleep as the medicine wears off. White Widow smells fruity with pine fresh undertones and has a hazy spice and pine like taste with a hint of fruit and citrus upon exhale.
Appearance
White Widow often appears more white than green with its high resin content accompanied by its pale shade of green (hence, the name, white widow).
Cultivating
White Widow grows tall with delicate arms and performs more like a sativa in the garden but tends to finish a lot earlier with moderate size yields. White Widow normally flowers in 50-66 days and (outdoor) harvest is usually around late September – late October.
